Healing Complex Trauma with EMDR: Working with the Body & Dissociative Parts

EMDR Lebanon Association is organizing a 4-day workshop that is being presented by Mrs. Mrs. Mary Clare de Echevarria from the United Kingdom. She is a registered Psychotherapist, Recognized Supervisor and Recognized Training Supervisor, EMDR Europe Accredited Consultant and EMDRIA Approved Consultant. She is specialized in complex trauma, the body, and dissociative parts and her work integrates many different modalities.

This advanced EMDR workshop focuses on C-PTSD or complex trauma. It aims to teach clinicians who are trained in EMDR therapy how to conceptualize according to EMDR modality: CPTSD and dissociation-informed history-taking, preparation, resources, cognitive interweaves; emotional connection, emotional regulation and ‘telepathic’ interweaves (Gonzalez, 2020); relational, defense, modulation, experiential, information, developmental repair, action and integration interweaves (Korn, 2022), and somatic interventions to facilitate and enhance processing, installation and post-traumatic growth.

This workshop is only open to clinicians who are fully trained in EMDR Therapy, that is, those who have received the “Certificate of Completion” of the Basic EMDR Therapy Training Course as required by EMDR Lebanon Association.

This workshop is being presented in English, with support in French from the presenter and Arabic from the colleagues.

At the end of the 4-day workshop, the participants will receive a "Certificate of Attendance" and 24 EMDRIA credits of continued education units (CEU).

N.B. Full Attendance is a must. It is important to note that the “Certificate of Attendance” will not be delivered to those who miss any of the sessions.
